I want to show you how to make great food without fancy methods or expensive equipment.
I started cooking and baking with my mom when I was a little kid, and over the years, from LA to Sofia, Bulgaria and back, this desire to create followed me. When it got to the point where I found myself baking every day, when I realized that this was my passion, I knew I had to improve my skills, so I went to study in Paris.
I attended the Intensive Professional Program in French Pastry at Ferrandi-Paris and then interned at Gateaux Thoumieux (a pastry shop in the 7th quarter of Paris, a part of Hotel Thoumiex which also houses a 2 Michelin star restaurant “Sylvestre”).
Every night after school or work I would travel home and see people eating pre-packaged food or dessert and not even enjoying it, and I wondered why. I believe that food should be an experience and I want to show that you don’t have to go spend tons of money or stay in your kitchen for hours to have quality.
I believe that all you need to make great food are good ingredients and a bit of time.
